Packaging

The main objective of anything that we send out to you is that it reaches you in tip-top condition but we are also trying to do it with as much care as possible.

With that in mind all our boxes and board backed envelopes are made of recycled materials and are themselves recyclable and/or reusable. Our mailing labels are also recyclable but you may wish to remove and shred them in order to protect your identity.

Any bubble wrap we buy is made of recycled plastic and we also reuse all bubble wrap that we receive items such as bone china in. The vibrant tape we use on the bubble wrap is designed to be easy to see and remove so that some of the bubble wrap you receive can be reused. Until we find a reliable and lightweight alternative to bubble wrap we will continue to use it as little as is viable.

Our big white eco chips are totally biodegradable and can go in your domestic compost or be reused. They also dissolve in water!

Our tissue paper is both made of recycled paper and is recyclable.

All our greetings cards are printed on FSC accredited paper and we are moving over to all our envelopes being made of recycled craft paper. Currently we are using up our supplies of cello wraps (rookie mistake of buying way too many when first ordering cards!) After that we are going to join the ‘naked card’ movement and dispense with wraps altogether. If you would like you card to come without a cello before that, please just drop a note in the comments box at checkout.
